Role Purpose
Site Civil Engineer at EJAZ CREATIVE STUDIO will be working on managing and controlling the works of the company projects. Site Civil Engineer is holding the responsibility of managing on site teams, performing QA/QC tasks on a daily basis, making sure everyone on site is following the health and safety regulations, monitoring all subcontractors and issuing reports for management and relevant stakeholders in the project progress. Site Civil Engineer must emphasize the ability to work within a team and meet project objectives and timelines.
Key Accountabilities
- Managing the construction process and coordinating with all parties involved in the project.
- Overseeing all subcontractors and reporting directly to the project manager.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and add value engineering.
- Oversee the construction work and assure no delays occur to the project.
- Ability to perform a day-to-day management of the site including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of subcontractors.
- Capable of performing accurate quantity take off and understanding materials specifications.
- Forcing the health and safety regulations on site.
- Working closely with consultants to assure all work is approved by the consultant and its per the approved set of drawings.
- Prepare daily reports for relevant stakeholders to track project progress.
- Conducting quality assurance / quality control tasks and issuing all legal documents for the projects.
- Perform a sustainable procurement plan to assure all materials arrive at the site in a timely manner.
- Manage a weekly meeting with subcontractors to make sure all parties are on the same page.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering / Mechanical engineering
