MEP Draftsman

Role Purpose:
MEP draftsman at EJAZ® CREATIVE STUDIO will be responsible for planning, and drawing for interior design projects. Mainly working with architects & MEP engineers to create detailed blueprints that show the layout of buildings or other structures. A draftsman may also create models or illustrations of their ideas. 

Key Accountabilities: 

1. Prepare shop drawings and as-built drawings for all disciplines like Mechanical, Piping, Plumbing, and Electrical as well as for the project coordination drawing for the site.
2. Collect information from the site and implementing it in the as-built drawing.
3. Handle project drawings with the concerned engineering staff.
4. Provide functional support to the design Architect/ Engineers on the assigned task project.
5. Collaborate with design staff by establishing methods of closer communication and coordination.
6. Coordinate with a consultant for approval of shop drawings and after approval send them on-site for execution.
7. Prepare of Builders works Drawings.
8. Participate in site inspection, testing, and checking on progress with clients.
9. Prepare Operation Manual with the help of the Engineer after Finishing the Project for handover.
10. Prepare clear, complete, and accurate working plans and detailed drawings from rough or detailed sketches or notes for MEP projects.
11. Utilize knowledge of various drafting packages and software to complete drawings.
12. Prepare MEP Shop Drawing, Plan, Section, Schematic Diagram, Schedule of Equipment, and Equipment Installation Details.
13. Make final sketch of proposed drawing, checking dimensions of parts, materials to be used, a relation of one part to another, and relation of various parts to the whole structure or project.
14. Utilize knowledge of various machines, engineering practices, mathematics, building materials, and other physical sciences to complete drawings.
15. Performs other duties as directed by management.
